There's Black Friday, Cyber Monday and now #GivingTuesday. 

The Carson Scholars Fund is committed to make this year's #GivingTuesday bigger and better than ever! #GivingTuesday was launched two years ago as a response to commercialization and consumerism in the post-Thanksgiving season. #GivingTuesday is a movement to create a national day of giving. 

We are proud to be a #GivingTuesday partner again this year. Our goal is to raise $30,000 within the 24 hour period of #GivingTuesday on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. $30,000 is the amount of money needed to endow a school with a Carson Scholarship. The endowment can create a lifelong commitment to a school or region and guarantee the selection of a Carson Scholar each year.
